The Touch

Touch somebody, mhm, mhm, not so playfully...
but for all those times U needed them to steady up your courage,
and for all those moments that life's a challenge
that shook up their faith & confidence
and they came running to you for solace.

I like the message and the photo too which makes me wanna touch or be touched. How many people's holding hands in the photo. More than two maybe?

@Deno, I got to watch "Crash" last night & I was blown away by the film. It's a must-see & "powerful" isn't strong enough a word to describe what the movie deals with.
-Makes you want to say a prayer every day you leave the house, and you're right you leave the theater knowing you can never take the human touch for granted. Thanks.

@Wanjiru, Thanks for sharing this deep message. I bet Deno would agree that what you wrote reflects the many themes in 'Crash'. Plz go watch it.

@ Diane Orville, always glad to see you here:) You can e-touch me, won't complain much:)) There's 4 hands in the pic so take a guess & tell me what you think, lol!

The photo reminds me of the song that goes something like this # reach out and touch somebody's hand, make this world a better place to live #.

I like your little poem:)

@ D.Orville, nice try my friend, you're very close. The answer is either one up or one down from your guess. You must hate me for playing with your mind but you asked the question right? lol!

@ Mshairi, nice to have you back on the blogsphere:) Now that you mention it, is that the Diana Ross song by Ashford & Simpson(most mentioned couple in Hiphop after Ike & Turner, and Bobby & Whitney)?

-If so then I grew up listening to it coz my parents were big fans & as much as the title of pic came naturally, the song may have inspired it without me knowing it.
Thanks for the compliment. Very encouraging coming from a poetry diva like you:)
